Voter Information
Voter Eligibility
To vote in a municipal election, you must be:
- At least 18 years of age
- A Canadian citizen, and
- A resident of the Town of Raymond on the day that you vote.
Registering to Vote
All voters must be on the Permanent Electors Registry. To register to vote and confirm that your voter information is correct, voters should go to voterlink.ab.ca

ID Requirements
To vote, you must bring one piece of ID that includes your name and current address. Photo ID is not required.
Accepted forms of ID include:
- Alberta identification cards;
- utility bills;
- bank or credit card statements or personal cheques;
- driver’s licenses;
- proof of vehicle ownership (registration or insurance certificates);
- government cheques or cheque stubs;
- income or property tax assessment notices;
- insurance policy or coverage cards;
- letters from a public curator, public guardian, or public trustee;
- pension plan statements of benefits, contributions, or participation;
- residential lease or mortgage statements; and
- statements of government benefits, such as employment insurance, old-age security, and disability support.
