Priority Plowing Routes

Winter snow plowing focuses first on keeping key roads open so residents can safely move through the community.

Our plowing priorities are:

• Arterial roads that connect downtown, schools, the hospital, and essential Town services
• Collector roads that carry traffic between neighbourhoods
• Residential roads, once priority routes are cleared and conditions allow

Our goal is to make priority roads safely accessible as quickly as possible following snowfall events, with full road access targeted within 72 hours after significant snowfall, depending on conditions.
